What our guests have to say :

Thank you for creating a place of refuge that continues to restore and refresh year after year. Reading, enjoying the afternoon with a bottle of wine from Strewn, surrounded by birdsong. Pure tranquility. I couldn’t find a more perfect setting for my annual writing retreat! ….C.F. Toronto

Love waking up surrounded by the sounds of nature, enjoying breakfast overlooking the forest. Applewood Hollow offers a refuge from the noise of the city, something special that very few places can match. We’ll see you next year ( our 10th visit!) T.L., London

Your peaceful ” Shangri-la” was the perfect setting to celebrate our anniversary. Thanks to Jane for the wonderful hospitality! We loved wandering the gardens and hanging out with your chickens! E.W., Kitchener

Our stay at Applewood Hollow exceeded our expectations! We couldn’t have imagined a more magical experience, right down to the fireflies at night! Appreciated your recommendation about places to hike and stories about local history that tied it all together. Can’t wait to return! Wendy and Andrew, Ottawa

Applewood Hollow was everything the pictures promised – calming, beautiful gardens, lovely forested setting. The breakfast was fabulous, hope to come back for a longer stay! C.R., England

What a fabulous and welcoming B+B you have designed! It was everything and more than we could have possibly wanted…right down to the musical instruments. Will see you again soon! By the way, killer breakfasts, WOW!
